This blog is about me, a person who injects drugs, living and surviving under a state of prohibition.

Prohibition is currently the hegemony of the state.  The state and its institutions: the media, health & education systems, the justice system with its police officers , prisons, its judges and executioners — they are all waging a war on people who use certain drugs.  Even our families, our brothers and sisters wittingly or unwittingly are taking part in this war.

My articles are my stories, and my stories are one of survival under a state of constant, relentless, corrupt and an insidious war waged on me and my friends.   I have some education and some ability to write; and as such, I have some responsibility to document this war from my perspective and give a voice to those who are caught in a vicious cycle of poverty, violence,  and perpetual marginalization.
